Overview

Covering approximately 83,453 square kilometers, Hokkaido boasts diverse terrain, from rugged mountains and expansive forests to picturesque coastlines and vast plains. The island experiences a wide range of climates, offering cool temperate conditions in the south and subarctic winters in the north. Its breathtaking natural scenery includes iconic landmarks such as Mount Asahidake, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Shiretoko Peninsula, and the stunning blue ponds of Biei and Shirogane. Hokkaido’s winter attractions are particularly popular, attracting visitors for skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and ice fishing, thanks to its abundant snowfall.

Itinerary

Depart Manila for your flight to Chitose.

Konnichiwa! Welcome to Chitose. Upon arrival, meet with your English-speaking assistant. Transfer to your hotel in
Sapporo for check in.

Day 3 :
SAPPORO

Discover Sapporo on this full day guided tour. Pass by the uniquely designed Moerenumakoen park and Sapporo
Beer Museum. Continue to the historical, open air museum village of aitaku-no Mura. See the Susukino district,
Japan's largest entertainment district north of Tokyo. Proceed to Odori Park, separating the city into north and
south and where a month-long display of German-Style Christmas Lights is showcased in the evening. Stalls selling
Christmas items, hot wine, and German food can be found.

After breakfast at the hotel, get to explore the city of Otaru, a small city with a European air and streets filled with
shops, an old canal and tiny museums. Three things Otaru is known for are their desserts, exquisite glassware and
beautiful music boxes. Explore Shiroi Koibito Park. Shiroi Koibito, a chocolate cookie, is a famous souvenir from
Hokkaido then continues to the Kitaichi Glass Factory where you can see craftsmen skillfully making glass
merchandise which you can keep and buy. Proceed to the Music Box Museum where you’ll be able to find more than
25,000 music boxes in all shapes and sizes. Splurge yourself and visit the Tanukokoji Shopping district, one of the
largest and historic malls in Japan. Transfer back to the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the city of Noboribetsu, an impressive volcanic site making it most famous
for its hot springs and geysers. Enjoy the sight of its known Clock Tower and Old Government Building. Travel back
in time and know the history of Japan during the Edo Period by visiting the Date Jidaimura. Walk amidst geysers in
Jigokudani Hell’s Valley.

Day 6 :
SAPPORO

Full day pass to Sapporo Kokusai where you will have free time skiing.

Day 7 :
SAPPORO

Free time

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to airport for flight back to Manila.

Day 9 :

Arrived in Manila from a wonderful and memorable trip!
